Jorden has rhymes, he has lines, and he has important things to say. When asked to do an In-Depth Profile, Jorden knew he wanted to share his passion for rap with potential families. This aspiring rapper puts his whole soul into his lyrics. Whether writing about his history, his dreams, love, or loss, when you hear his words you get to know his heart.
Jorden recently sat down with our “host” Amalie (aka his Adoption Resource Consultant) for the first ever episode of “In Depth.”
Welcome to “In Depth” featuring today’s special guest: 54 Baby!
Jorden is relatively new to the music scene. While a long time fan of rap, he just started writing songs about three years ago as a way of processing his thoughts, sorting through life events, and creating a lasting document of his experiences.
Jorden hopes to bring his rhymes to the world as 54 Baby.
His rap “Isolation” delves deep into his history and what happened with his family. What really shines through is, no matter what happened, love still remains and Jorden’s dedication to having family and home stays strong.
His song “Leavin’ Me” hits you with a real gut punch. It’s about losing love; an emotion we have all felt. It reaches those raw edges of pain that comes from losing someone we trusted and loved.
In “No Mo” he explores love a little further and the confusion that can come when you don’t know what to do with a relationship.
With a fire in his soul and talent to spare, Jorden is going places.
Jorden writes rhymes that detail his own experiences, but in a way that can speak to everyone. He has a real gift for making what is unique to him, universal for all.
Intelligent and engaging, Jorden is worth listening to. Whether he’s performing as 54 Baby or just chatting with you one on one. While his aspirations center around entering the rap world professionally one day, he has lots of other interests including sports, video games, and spending time with friends and family.
Home and family is never far from Jorden’s mind.
Could you see this future rapper wrapped into your family? He could be the rhythm and the rhyme that makes your family complete. He needs a forever family that will help him maintain contact with his siblings. He would do best with a single female parent, two female parents or a mom and dad who are willing to help him build a life that’s worthy of song.
