Ava wanted to learn more cosmetology skills and share that experience with families.
For Ava, cosmetology isn’t just about beauty: it’s about using her talents to bring other people joy or to heal someone else’s hurt. It takes a special person to not only empathize with others, but to find personal fulfillment from their contentment.
Ava’s desire to help others doesn’t end with cosmetology. She has big plans to attend Ferris State University and eventually become a neonatal nurse practitioner. She would do best with a parent or parents who understand that difficult experiences in early life impact the way someone manages life later on. Parents who are empathetic – just like Ava is – would be a great fit. Most of all, like Ava says, she needs a family that will be there and will care. And that’s not much to ask for.
